YOUR POSITION WITH THE ARCC

This varies based on the skills and experience you bring to the ARCC, but your role must be in line with our mission and support other Board Members efforts in similar pursuit. Some months are slow while others are very busy depending on what events and projects are in the works.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• 1 - 2 hours monthly meetings (first Thursday of each month at 5:30pm)

• 1 -4 hours per month of phone calls/meeting with members, land managers, interested parties, etc.

• Weekly email chains with full group response

• 1 - 4 in-person days per year for ARCC events or networking

  • This includes our annual Climbers Festival and preferably also our Ozark Ramble

• Weekly group chat through text

The ARCC Board Member position is voluntary. Either the ARCC Board Member or the ARCC may end the position at any time upon email notice to the other.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Personal accountability on assigned tasks

• Organization and communication skills

• Positive attitudes and openness to others’ ideas

• Leading groups of climbers/volunteers during events
