2021 ACCOMPLISHED OBJECTIVES

  • Replaced a total of 147 bolts and anchors with new stainless hardware

  • Spring 2021 Haw Creek Trail Day - Replaced 91 bolts

  • Fall 2021 Invasion Wall Trail Day - Replaced 56 bolts/anchors. Removed 24 bolts from closed routes above Native American petroglyphs and patched bolt holes.

  • 113 Members enrolled, largest ever in history of ARCC and growing!

  • New system to log volunteer hours

  • New modernized website

  • New project management planning software/app for the ARCC board, this was mission critical for keeping track and organization

  • Continuing the Stainless Steel Initiative (SSI) for route developers and promoting the usage of stainless steel hardware on routes

  • Relationship Building with Arkansas and National Organizations - Access Fund, Arkansas State Parks, Buffalo River NPS, National Forest Service

2020 ACCOMPLISHED OBJECTIVES

  • Mt. Magazine Trail Day, partnering with Access Fund

  • Buffalo River Climbing Plan

  • National Forest Service Relationship Building, assuming expenses of Sam’s Throne pit toilets

  • WAG Bag Station Installations in 6 climbing hotspots

  • Stainless Steel Initiative (SSI) for route developers

  • Arkansas Climbers Coalition Ambassadors Program

  • Streamlined rollout of t-shirts and reworked management platforms
