Welcome to the 5th Annual Arkansas Climbers Festival!

The Arkansas Climbers Festival brings together the climbing community for a weekend full of clinics, workshops, live music, and local vendors. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, connect with fellow climbers, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, the festival offers something for everyone.

Join us to celebrate climbing in The Natural State while supporting the preservation of our beloved climbing areas. Fun and community spirit are at the heart of this must-attend event.

    Women's climbing clinic will be a friendly and welcoming environment with climbing as our main focus. We will have a 5.10+ category in the morning. We can project and discuss goals for our climbing and then apply those goals to the climbs. We can discuss our likes and dislikes when it involves moral support such a beta given or not. Some climbers prefer gentle cheering, while others prefer a cheer squad.

    This is a fun and hands-on intro to bouldering course is designed for Elementary to Middle School aged kids with little to no experience bouldering. We will head out for a few hours of exploring where we learn how to find the boulder we are looking for, set up pads properly, learn the basics of spotting and safety when bouldering and try to climb our first problem where we will practice basic movement and footwork for balanced stable climbing. We will choose age/skill appropriate boulders depending on participants and will likely spend our time around the "Shingles" boulder area past the Trading Post playground, and then make our way into the Idahos. Parents are encouraged to attend, however children ages 6 and under are required to have a parent present. Make sure each participant brings plenty of water, snacks and climbing shoes if available. We will have chalk and a few pads available, but the more we have, the more we can do so feel free to bring extras even if you are just dropping them off.

    Warrior’s Way - Falling Clinic (Intermediate Level)

    Earlier Start Time: 8:00AM - 12:00PM

    • Requirements:

      • Lead certified in gym & Lead 5.8 Outdoors

      • Rope, Harness, Helmet, Climbing Shoes, & Chalk

    This training addresses falling directly to help improve commitment. Students will do progressive falling practice, followed by movement, breathing, resting, and body/mind awareness exercises. Finally, students apply everything to a goal route. Students leave understanding how to take appropriate risks and how to commit to those risks.

      • No actual requirements but best suited for students who want to learn to trad climb or build trad anchors.

      • Harness is helpful for keeping gear organized and accessible. Harness and helmet are necessary to bounce test the gear.

    Practice placing, evaluating, and removing nuts, cams, and slings in a ground-school environment.
